Mess'in With Texas!

This weekend in Tuscaloosa has officially been declared the "Wellthatscool.com Messin With Texas Weekend" by the president of Alabama.
  Two nights of excitement and entertainment book-ending the University of Alabama football game as they take on the North Texas Mean Green.
This all starts Sept. 18 at 7pm when DCDC presents "The Big Lebowski" at the Historic Bama Theatre.
   From there head right down the street to the Mellow Mushroom where your ears be tickled by the sounds of Chinese Dentist, a classic Tuscaloosa funky band and Armless Victory, a dj that mixes live instruments with beats. Crushing Cancer

    As you can see, Egans was packed out: the numbers are in and it is amazing. Thanks to The Dexateens, Model Citizen, Carroll County Picture show and YOU - $2,600 was raised last Friday night to help Crush Cancer and help out Brian Rogers of the The Penetrators.

    That's off the charts and way more than what was expected to be made. Egans is not that big of a place, even with all the bar stools removed. CRUSH CANCER BENEFIT

   Egans bar holds a very tight 100 people. It is a great place to play and drink away an evening. Egans bar is known for NEVER charging a cover and thick, lingering smoke.

   We are having a benefit there on April the 10th for our friend, Brian Rogers. Brian is fighting a battle with esophageal cancer and we are raising money for his costly doctor bills.
