New The Booth

  According to the Tuscaloosa News, _{"The Tuscaloosa City Council cleared the way for The Booth, a lounge that served as a favorite watering hole for students during a 25-year run on the University Strip, to be reborn in downtown Tuscaloosa."}
  The new booth  will be located at 2101 6th St., where Campbell's Body Shop used to be located. There may be ghosts of Rock & Roll past. The spot is only a few doors down from 2121 6th St., where the greatest bar in the world was once located, The Chukker.
  The new Both will not have sidewalk seating but it will have an enclosed space on the outside of two large doors that can be opened up for open air seating.
  The original booth or Booth Classic, closed its doors in November of 2006. The New Booth hopes to open in time for the A-Day game on April 18th of this year.
