Mess'in With Texas!

This weekend in Tuscaloosa has officially been declared the "Wellthatscool.com Messin With Texas Weekend" by the president of Alabama.
  Two nights of excitement and entertainment book-ending the University of Alabama football game as they take on the North Texas Mean Green.
This all starts Sept. 18 at 7pm when DCDC presents "The Big Lebowski" at the Historic Bama Theatre.
   From there head right down the street to the Mellow Mushroom where your ears be tickled by the sounds of Chinese Dentist, a classic Tuscaloosa funky band and Armless Victory, a dj that mixes live instruments with beats. Tickets for that portion of the night are already available online at Brown Paper Tickets.

   After an amazing Friday night you will want to rest up b/c the battle of the furious colors, the Crimson Tide v The Mean Green is  down at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
   That night after the game head back down to the Mellow Mushroom for The Classic Flame, the next generation of T-town Rock, Model Citizen, fast paced rock in roll that is sure to get the blood pumpin and Lee Baines III who will be joined by some of his band mates from the Dexateens! Our friends over at TideSports.com will also be on hand they will have a table set up and be taping their podcast, In The Trenches.
