The City of Tuscaloosa Wants to Hear From You

Want to know what the city's building downtown? Concerned about a public safety issue? Have a great idea to improve your neighborhood? Tuscaloosa Mayor Walt Maddox wants to hear it all.

Maddox, Council Members and the City's Department Heads will welcome residents this Thursday at the first of four Community Conversations. The town-hall type forums are part of an effort to further the core belief expressed by city leaders that Tuscaloosa be a customer-friendly environment where city operations are open, effective and efficient.

This Thursday's meeting wil be from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Oakdale Elementary. Future meetings will be held the next three Thursdays at schools throughout Tuscaloosa. Visit www.tuscaloosa.com or call 311 for more information.
